As schools reopened for physical classes, Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya felt it was important to engage the children in outdoor activities, thereby providing a break from the monotony of daily classes and studies, while keeping them engaged in fun-filled educational initiatives.
Children from the kindergarten section celebrated Fruit Day, an activity designed to familiarise children with fruit that are essential to a healthy life. To make the activity truly participative, we urged them to bring different fruit to school. We also introduced them to computers through fun activities.
Our motive was to establish a foundation of being tech savvy, while building awareness of the benefits of healthy eating, and an appreciation for local produce.
The children showed a keen interest, and participated enthusiastically in the activities.
