Eradicating Extreme Hunger and Poverty
FIL/MMF began venture in water conservation to reduce water scarcity in the state and create opportunities in agriculture sector. This initiative took place in the following villages: Rede, Solapur, Sordi, Sangli, dist, Kalamwadi and Kondbavi in Solapur, Katgun, Satara district, Wadgoan Anand in Pune District.
Promoting Preventive Health Care
Mukul Madhav Foundation is constantly striving to improve the quality of healthcare services in India. We are associated with a number of hospitals and medical institutes, by providing them with better infrastructure and training to doctors.
Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation
India is one of the fastest growing economies, yet it faces several public related health challenges. Lack of toilet facilities lead to poor hygiene especially, amongst girls. Inadequate sanitation is a major cause of disease and improving sanitation is known to have a significant beneficial impact in health of households and communities.
Promotion of Education
Working in and around the villages of Ratnagiri, our founders recognized the need for rural upliftment. In 2008, Finolex Industries Limited donated 10 acres of land to Mukul Madhav Foundation for the establishment of a school on the outskirts of Ratnagiri. As a result, Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya (MMV) was established on 24 June 2010 in Golap, Ratnagiri, to provide quality English education at an affordable cost to the local community.
Promotion of Vocational Skills and Livelihoods
We supported 312 widowed women farmers in Osmanabad. We ensured agriculture land entitlement was documented to beneficiaries. Through “Mahabeej” we donated tuvar and Soya seeds in June 2019 and in 2020.
Promoting Gender Equality Empowering Women
Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes & hostels for women & orphans, setting up old age homes, day care centers & such other facilities for senior citizens & measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially & economically backward groups.
Ensuring Environment Sustainability
In order to address the severe water scarcity in Maharashtra, Finolex and MMF initiated their work in water conservation. From 2008 the Foundation has implemented many water schemes across rural Maharashtra, enriching the lives of thousands of villagers.
Armed Forces / Veterans
The aim of ECHS is to support and enhance the official welfare efforts within the Indian Army, focusing especially on the welfare of families, children and widows of all ranks including retired personnel of the Army since 2003. Ex-servicemen pensioners and their dependents who were only entitled for treatment in service hospital earlier can now take treatment not only in service hospitals, but also in those civil/private hospitals which are specifically empanelled with the ECHS.
Promoting Sports
(rural, para-Olympic, Olympic and nationally recognized)
A special run organized for (Divyang) Differently Abled which was supported by Finolex Industries Limited and Mukul Madhav Foundation in the year of 2018 and 2019 as employee engagement programme in social activities 40 employees from both the organizations participated and some of them have received medals on completion There were 150 differently abled who participated in this run.
Technology Incubators
FIL/MMF supported start-up Incubatee Company of “Scitech Park”and the technology is developed under the NIDHI PRAYAS program initiated by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). Director of operations at JClean Weather Tech.
