Mukul Madhav Foundation and Railway Children India (RCI) have come together to help children across six high-risk slum communities in Delhi and Ghaziabad. The programme will protect 1,664 vulnerable children from the difficulties of street life. 77% of these children now have access to education, health, nutrition, and child protection services. RCI has created a safer and healthier environment in which to raise them. Community-based activity centres have become transformative spaces. They facilitate vocational training, self-defence classes, and academic reintegration. The initiative also strengthens family ties. So, these children are at a lower risk of separation. Parents are connected with essential resources to support their children’s growth.
