Children’s Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
We began our Children’s Day celebration at Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya by garlanding the photo frame of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. We conducted a week-long celebration by organising fun-filled activities for the students, such as memory games, quizzes, dumb charades and book balancing. These games were a great refresher so that the students could approach their upcoming assessments with a fresh mind.
Many students participated with great enthusiasm in the Fancy Dress Competition, organised for Classes 1 to 9. The students with the best fancy dress were rewarded with prizes. Sweets and balloons were distributed among the students. The school wore a festive look on this colourful occasion.
