We recognise November 26th as ‘Constitution Day’ in India. The Indian Constitution came into effect on January 26th, 1950. India celebrates Constitution Day or National Law Day, to mark the day that the Indian Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly in 1949.
In recognition of this, we at Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya organised a two-day workshop on the ‘Indian Constitution and Parliament’ in collaboration with MIT – World Peace University, Pune, and Yuvak Kranti Dal. This workshop was conducted on November 22nd and 23rd, 2022.
MIT Group provides education in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Marine Engineering, Insurance, Distance Education, Telecom Management, Lighting, Design, Food & Technology, Retail Management, Master’s in Business Administration, School of Government and School Education.
Yuvak Kranti Dal is running a campaign to study, propagate-promote and training of constitutional values. Its main objective is to shape violence-free Indian youth based on values of Justice, Freedom, Equality and Brotherhood (Fraternity/ Friendship) as stated in the Constitution of India.
This interactive session was conducted by two highly experienced and knowledgeable speakers – Neelam Pandit from MIT and Sandeep Barve from Yuvak Kranti Dal for our students from the 6th to 12th class.
They explained the key points of the Indian Constitution: the values, the factors influencing and making the process of the constitution, the fundamental rights and the directive principles of the Constitution.
The workshop helped students get a clearer understanding of the Indian Constitution and the way it works. The students actively participated in the workshop and thoroughly enjoyed it.
So, a few days later, on November 26th, 2022, our students from class 1 to class 10 explained the importance of the Indian Constitution during a special assembly at Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya.
