At Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya, we constantly encourage the students to enthusiastically celebrate the cultural diversity of India by observing the festivals across the year and having mutual respect for all religions and communities. With Aashadi Ekadashi (popularly known as Maha-Ekadashi) and Eid falling in the same week, it was a double celebration for our students.
Observed as the eleventh lunar day of the bright fortnight of the Hindu month of Ashadha, students at MMV celebrated this day with great fervour on 10th July 2022 by joining our staff members wearing traditional outfits. They participated in Dindi March along with the Palkhi procession of Lord Vitthal, followed by bhajan and a Lezim dance show by students of the primary section. There was a special performance of the folk dance-Fugdi by girls of the secondary section, which was greatly appreciated.
