In the wake of the rising cases of diabetes in our country, Mukul Madhav Foundation has been taking the initiative to spread awareness about this disease. According to reports, 40 million people in India suffer with diabetes.
Various donors have been supporting the endeavours that we have undertaken over the last few months. Recently, a generous donation came our way from an anonymous donor. These funds are being channelized to 3 Hospitals in Pune, i.e., K.E.M Hospital, Jehangir Hospital & Shahade Hospital, and will be used to purchase one-time-use disposable Insulin Vials (Rs. 85/- per vial), which are required by diabetic patients on an almost daily basis. This hereditary disease, once detected, is a long term responsibility and patients from lower income groups may feel burdened with these recurring expenses for their treatment.
With the unending support of our donors, we are moving towards reaching out to as many deserving and needy patients as we can.
